In anticipation of the start of a water drilling site in the New Aquitaine region, a certified organization came to our workshops to inspect a 5" drill string.
On the program of this inspection once the stems are cleaned, degreased and brushed:
1- Visual inspection of threads (Box and Pin)
2- Dimensional control of OD/ID rods
3- Magnetization of the rods to detect possible anomalies
To be followed by the same operation on a 3-1/2" rod set!
